Javier, my grandfather, passed away on 22 August after a short illness. He was 36 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,750 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 11 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Javier to have a dignified farewell.
