Harsh, my brother, passed away on 28 July after a sudden heart attack. He was 79 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 3 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Harsh to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $900 goes: • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $310 • Memorial gathering for the family: $30 • Funeral home services and casket: $560 Thanks for being kind about this. - Meet

  • hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Springfield so I could bring a meal.
