Farewell fund for Fikru: help Dagmawit's family in Adama
Dagmawit lost her brother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $500.

Fikru, my brother, passed away on 30 January after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 88 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 15 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Fikru to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $500 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $310
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $70
• Transport of the deceased: $70
• Memorial gathering for the family: $50
