Dung, my grandmother, passed away on 19 August after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 69 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 August. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Dung to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $1,050 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $660 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $270 • Transport of the deceased: $65 • Memorial gathering for the family: $55 Every share and every dollar helps.
