Fajar received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A court summons for non-payment arrived last week. Fajar needs $650 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Medan.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $650.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $560
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• Late fees and court costs: $70
With deep gratitude,
Fajar

You're not alone, Fajar. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Osaka so I could bring a meal. Greetings from Malang
