Faisal needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Faisal independence - we're $700 away.

Faisal lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Karachi General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Faisal could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $700 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $670
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $5
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
