Ezra lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a fire in the building and needs $3,450 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a barbershop in Sydney. In February, a fire in the building took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,450 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $2,500
• Shop repairs and licensing: $185
• Initial stock: supplies: $765
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care.
Wishing you peace. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 24 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Thinking of you, Ezra. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this, Ezra. Hope you make a strong comeback. Thinking of Sydney.
thinking of you and your family, Ezra. This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Bahir Dar donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
