Corazon's a partial thyroidectomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Corazon needs a partial thyroidectomy at Manila General Hospital and the family is $500 short of the hospital's estimate.

Corazon was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in February. The surgeon at Manila General Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $500 short.
my mother has been in and out of Manila General Hospital since February. The doctors say a hernia that has become strangulated will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Corazon struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Corazon won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
