Eva is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Eva was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Allentown Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Eva is 42, worked as a bus conductor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Allentown Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $13,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $8,000
• Scans and lab work: $1,150
• Transport to Allentown Regional Medical Center: $990
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $680
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,180
