Eun-kyung was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in August. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,700, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,350 short.
my mother has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since August. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,700 is more than we can find.
