Erosion collapse in Ibadan: help Lakeview village rebuild
The erosion collapse damaged 13 homes in Lakeview village. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The erosion collapse hit Lakeview village on 21 February. My home was one of 13 damaged, and 8 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $650 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $170
• Clean water and purification supplies: $115
• Food parcels for displaced families: $105
• Roofing sheets and timber: $260
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thank you all. We're at 8% now ($50). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward food parcels for displaced families.

Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Ibadan
