Enzo needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
A neighborhood bakery in Belo Horizonte needs help replacing a commercial oven after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇧🇷 Minas Gerais, Brazil912 views
For fifteen years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Belo Horizonte. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $490
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $180
• Shop repairs and licensing: $200
• Working capital for the first month: $130
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending good thoughts, Enzo. Shared it with a few friends. God bless
wishing you peace, Enzo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Naples so I could bring a meal.
Thanks for sharing this, Enzo. Hope you make a strong comeback. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Belo Horizonte.
Sending good thoughts. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in El Paso donated after I showed her your page
Keep going, Enzo. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best
