Emre received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
After a long illness, Emre is 3 months behind on rent and has a 10-day notice to quit from the landlord.

When my hours were cut in half in May, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I've 2 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $750 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $240
• Utilities in arrears: $75
• Rent arrears (3 months): $435
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Emre?
Thank you. If you're in Kadıköy I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Keep going. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Kadıköy.
Rooting for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Thane.
