Emmanuel was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. The oncology team at Pasig University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Emmanuel is 38, worked as a nurse until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Pasig University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,150 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $640 • Household costs while unable to work: $380 • Transport to Pasig University Hospital: $130 I hope life is good to you.

  • Wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Manchester

    • Thinking of you. Looking forward to the next update. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care!
