Emma's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a hernia that has become strangulated, Emma was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Emma was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in March. The surgeon at Latina Orthopedic Institute recommended a craniotomy, and She is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $4,100 short.
my mother has been in and out of Latina Orthopedic Institute since March. The doctors say a hernia that has become strangulated will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Emma struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Emma won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
