Emergency vet bill for Ziggy in Suwon
A rabbit named Ziggy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $1,700 bill the family can't cover.

Ziggy is my rabbit of eleven years. On 17 July we rushed to Suwon Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,700.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $135 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Suwon Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $400
• Medication and follow-up visits: $135
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $115

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Jin-woo.
It's all in the list in the story. emergency surgery is the big one at $1,050, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
Rooting for you, Jin-woo. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Moscow so I could bring a meal. God bless.
You're not alone, Jin-woo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
how is Jin-woo doing now?
Best of luck, Jin-woo. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Jakarta but we're thinking of you.
Hope the recovery goes smoothly. We're a small family in Las Cruces but we're thinking of you. Take care.
This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Swansea.
