Ziggy is my dog of eleven years. On 31 July we rushed to Sakai Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,600. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Sakai Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery. Where the $1,600 goes: • Emergency surgery: $750 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $450 • Medication and follow-up visits: $270 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130 Glad we found this place.
