Ziggy is my German shepherd of six years. On 30 September we rushed to Lucknow Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Lucknow Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $280 • Medication and follow-up visits: $25 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $95 I hope life is good to you. - Sunita

  • So sorry you're going through this, Sunita. Give Ziggy a hug from me. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
