Ziggy is my three-legged dog of two years. On 25 August we rushed to the Düsseldorf Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,650. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $135 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Düsseldorf Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,650 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $240 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270 • Emergency surgery: $1,140 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Jürgen
