Ziggy is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 6 September we rushed to the Dallas Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600. They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $130 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Dallas Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,600 goes: • Emergency surgery: $670 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $480 • Medication and follow-up visits: $320 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130 I hope life is good to you.
