Tucker is my cat of nine years. On 3 August we rushed to Jakarta Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Jakarta Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $400 goes: • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30 • Emergency surgery: $330 • Medication and follow-up visits: $40 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
