Emergency vet bill for Teddy in San Francisco

A dog named Teddy needs emergency surgery - a $2,950 bill the family can't cover.

San Francisco
Teddy is my dog of two years. On 3 January we rushed to the San Francisco Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,950. They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March. Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $330 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the San Francisco Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Teddy's recovery. Where the $2,950 goes: • Emergency surgery: $2,050 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $290 • Medication and follow-up visits: $280 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $330 Every share and every dollar helps. - Derek
