Emergency vet bill for Teddy in Salerno
Please help Sara pay for Teddy's emergency treatment at Salerno Veterinary Centre.
Anywhere in the world1,853 views
Teddy is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 12 August we rushed to Salerno Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,500.
They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Salerno Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $860
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $290
• Medication and follow-up visits: $130
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $220
Thanks for being kind about this.
Updates from Sara
Thank you all. We're at 6% now ($93). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts.
