Teddy is my cat of two years. On 18 March we rushed to Dayton Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $3,250. They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond June. Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $380 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Dayton Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $3,250 goes: • Emergency surgery: $2,350 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $310 • Medication and follow-up visits: $250 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $340 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
