Emergency vet bill for Teddy in Cali
A dog named Teddy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $550 bill the family can't cover.

Teddy is my dog of two years. On 23 September we rushed to the Cali Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $100 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Cali Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Teddy's recovery.
Where the $550 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $80
• Emergency surgery: $390
