Emergency vet bill for Simba in The Hague
A three-legged dog named Simba needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $1,250 bill the family can't cover.

Simba is my three-legged dog of nine years. On 31 May we rushed to The Hague Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,250.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba got me through my hardest year. I have already put $190 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to The Hague Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $650
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $270
• Medication and follow-up visits: $165
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $165
