Emergency vet bill for Simba in New Delhi
A tabby kitten named Simba needs orthopedic surgery - a $500 bill the family can't cover.
🇮🇳 New Delhi, Delhi, India1,914 views
Simba is my tabby kitten of two years. On 15 July we rushed to New Delhi Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to New Delhi Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Simba's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $340
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $80
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
