Rosie is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 29 October we rushed to the Porto Alegre Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600. They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Porto Alegre Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rosie's recovery.
