Emergency vet bill for Rosie in Nairobi
A German shepherd named Rosie needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $350 bill the family can't cover.

Rosie is my German shepherd of nine years. On 27 December we rushed to Nairobi Veterinary Centre with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Nairobi Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

• Hospitalization (3 nights): $115
