Rosie is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 14 July we rushed to Curitiba Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $600. They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Curitiba Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
