Rocky is my tabby kitten of three years. On 5 November we rushed to Vancouver Animal Hospital with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,950.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond January.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky got me through my hardest year. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Vancouver Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,150
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $600
• Medication and follow-up visits: $200
