Emergency vet bill for Rocky in San Antonio
Rocky, Logan's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $2,550.
🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States3,086 views
Rocky is my rabbit of six years. On 5 September we rushed to San Antonio Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,550.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $110 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Antonio Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,550 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $740
• Emergency surgery: $1,450
• Medication and follow-up visits: $360
I hope life is good to you.
- Logan

Thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Los Angeles
