Emergency vet bill for Rocky in Cape Town
A senior cat named Rocky needs orthopedic surgery - a $250 bill the family can't cover.

Rocky is my senior cat of three years. On 20 September we rushed to Cape Town Animal Hospital with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $250.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Cape Town Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rocky's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $165
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
