Emergency vet bill for Rocky in Belfast
A rescue greyhound named Rocky needs orthopedic surgery - a $1,000 bill the family can't cover.

Rocky is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 1 July we rushed to Belfast Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,000.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $170 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Belfast Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $490
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
