Poppy is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 30 July we rushed to the Medina Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,550. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Medina Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
