Poppy is my senior cat of three years. On 14 December we rushed to Jessore Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Jessore Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $15
• Emergency surgery: $270
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $65
