Emergency vet bill for Pixel in Wiesbaden
Pixel, Johanna's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $2,050.

Pixel is my German shepherd of eleven years. On 28 January we rushed to Wiesbaden Animal Hospital with bloat. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,050.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $135 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Wiesbaden Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $490
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $270
