Emergency vet bill for Pixel in Shubra
Pixel, Abdullah's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $400.
🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt723 views
Pixel is my tabby kitten of two years. On 22 June we rushed to the Shubra Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Shubra Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $220
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $75
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $60
Glad we found this place.
