Emergency vet bill for Pixel in Sheffield
Pixel, Ruth's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $1,800.

Pixel is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 3 August we rushed to Sheffield Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,800.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $330 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Sheffield Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.

• Emergency surgery: $720
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $560
• Medication and follow-up visits: $180
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $340
