Emergency vet bill for Pixel in Nairobi

Pixel is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 4 September we rushed to the Nairobi Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Nairobi Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $210 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $70 • Medication and follow-up visits: $45 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $75 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
