Emergency vet bill for Pixel in Chennai
Pixel, Geeta's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $400.

Pixel is my three-legged dog of two years. On 19 March we rushed to Chennai Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond June.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Chennai Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.
Where the $400 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $110
• Emergency surgery: $255
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
