Pepper is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 2 July we rushed to Toronto Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,950. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond September. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $320 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Toronto Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery. Where the $1,950 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $330 • Emergency surgery: $1,350 • Hospitalization (4 nights): $270 Thank you so much.
