Emergency vet bill for Pepper in Badagry
Please help Amaka pay for Pepper's emergency treatment at the Badagry Emergency Vet Clinic.
🇳🇬 Nigeria1,711 views
Pepper is my cat of six years. On 7 May we rushed to the Badagry Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $15 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Badagry Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $200 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $75
• Medication and follow-up visits: $35
• Emergency surgery: $90
Thank you so much.
Updates from Amaka
Wanted to say thank you properly. 96% funded and we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($60 in total) the plan for emergency surgery is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
