Emergency vet bill for Pepper in Aswan
A rabbit named Pepper needs orthopedic surgery - a $150 bill the family can't cover.

Pepper is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 5 August we rushed to Aswan Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $150.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper got me through my hardest year. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Aswan Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $150 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $65
• Medication and follow-up visits: $20
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
Thank you for reading my story.

Stay strong, Mona. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
