Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Veracruz
Oscar, Ana's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $550.
🇲🇽 Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico195 views
Oscar is my senior cat of thirteen years. On 25 August we rushed to the Veracruz Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Veracruz Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $550 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $70
• Emergency surgery: $420
• Medication and follow-up visits: $60
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Hyderabad.
