Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Mombasa
Oscar, Awino's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $400.

Oscar is my tabby kitten of two years. On 7 September we rushed to the Mombasa Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $65 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Mombasa Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $240
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $100
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $5
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

sending good thoughts, Awino. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
Keep going, Awino. Give Oscar a hug from me. God bless
hang in there, Awino. Poor Oscar, hope they feel better soon. All the best.
