Emergency vet bill for Oscar in Columbus
A rescue greyhound named Oscar needs orthopedic surgery - a $1,250 bill the family can't cover.

Oscar is my rescue greyhound of three years. On 20 June we rushed to Columbus Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,250.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $185 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Columbus Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Oscar's recovery.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $190
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $220
• Emergency surgery: $840
