Emergency vet bill for Ollie in San Jose
Ollie, Ezra's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a foreign object blocking the intestines costing $1,700.

Ollie is my senior cat of nine years. On 25 December we rushed to San Jose Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,700.
They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $350 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Jose Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,150
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $300
• Medication and follow-up visits: $115
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $135
Thanks for reading all this.
Updates from Ezra
Thank you all. We're at 12% now ($196). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for emergency surgery is now scheduled.
