Pokhara
Ollie is my tabby kitten of eleven years. On 8 June we rushed to the Pokhara Emergency Vet Clinic with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $100. They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Pokhara Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $100 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $25 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $60 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $15 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Dinesh

Keep going, Dinesh. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in San Francisco but we're thinking of you. Love from San Francisco.

    • praying for you. This could happen to any of us. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too

      • you're not alone. Looking forward to the next update. Thinking of Pokhara.

        • Hope the recovery goes smoothly. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double

          • A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Gandaki. I'll ask around and let you know.
