Emergency vet bill for Ollie in La Plata

A rescue greyhound named Ollie needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $550 bill the family can't cover.

La Plata
Ollie is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 18 September we rushed to La Plata Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $550. They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to La Plata Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ollie's recovery. Where the $550 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $80 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $85 • Emergency surgery: $385 Thanks for reading all this.
